My Broil Element works, My Bake Element & My Convection Element Does Not Work. Is this a defective timer/electronic control Thank You

Here is your wiring diagram ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/Pr...assomption/318046706.pdfYes could be the control board, relay K2 is common to both elements. Less likely but an ouside possibilty is the relay just to the left of the bake & convection elements in the wiring diagram. But I would expect that one or the other element woud work if the relay was NG. |

Denman can you point me to a dacor service manual for rsd30; it blew a breaker whil convection baking; bake element tested good; thermostat /limitor red reset button will not reset- i push down and it does not reset. need to get gas stove top off to replace thermostat-help. finally what else will cause brker to pop then pop again when i try toreset the breaker thanx so much kairos

Sorry but I cannot find any info/manual for this unit. There are a couple Dacor manuals at this site but looks like they are just electrical faults etc. http://appliancejunk.com/forums/index.phpYou will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download manuals. Are you trying to reset the thermal cut-off with the power on? If yes then remove power from the unit before trying to reset it. I did Google "Dacor RSD30" and did get a few hits on it. In one the fellow showed an element that was very close to the ovens back wall so could short out. I am not sure if this unit has a separate element for convection, you may want to check if it does. |

I am not sure if this unit has a separate element for convection, you may want to check if it does. thanx for your insights - i did join the site- found a couple of dacor docs from forum postings. btw i found that unless that the reset on the high tem thermostat cannot be reset unless it is poped. my seems to be fine. bake elemt is good. there is a broil elemt i will chk. problem with dacor is the design is wacky - no housewife should have to take apanel off toreset a hi-tem thermostat if an oven cleaning pops it. dacor is the yugo of stoves as far as design is concerned. thanx again
