Here is your wiring diagram
ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/Pr...assomption/318046706.pdf

Yes could be the control board, relay K2 is common to both elements.

Less likely but an ouside possibilty is the relay just to the left of the bake & convection elements in the wiring diagram. But I would expect that one or the other element woud work if the relay was NG.

Denman

can you point me to a dacor service manual for rsd30; it blew a breaker whil convection baking; bake element tested good; thermostat /limitor red reset button will not reset- i push down and it does not reset.
need to get gas stove top off to replace thermostat-help.
finally what else will cause brker to pop then pop again when i try toreset the breaker

thanx so much

Sorry but I cannot find any info/manual for this unit.

There are a couple Dacor manuals at this site but looks like they are just electrical faults etc.

You will have to join the site and be logged in to be able to download manuals.

Are you trying to reset the thermal cut-off with the power on?
If yes then remove power from the unit before trying to reset it.

I did Google "Dacor RSD30" and did get a few hits on it.
In one the fellow showed an element that was very close to the ovens back wall so could short out.

I am not sure if this unit has a separate element for convection, you may want to check if it does.

thanx for your insights - i did join the site- found a couple of dacor docs from forum postings. btw i found that unless that the reset on the high tem thermostat cannot be reset unless it is poped. my seems to be fine. bake elemt is good. there is a broil elemt i will chk. problem with dacor is the design is wacky - no housewife should have to take apanel off toreset a hi-tem thermostat if an oven cleaning pops it. dacor is the yugo of stoves as far as design is concerned.

thanx again
