Gas range still ignites, electric/thermal convection oven and display panel has no power. Is this a fuse, transformer, control board issue? How do I figure out which one? Can't afford to buy and return parts to preforms process of elimination. Thx..

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Tried a number of sources.
Please check it.

Some units do have a thermal fuse in the power supply to the control board.

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool KDRP462LSS08 Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

See the attachment for the tech sheet. The unit does have a thermal fuse.
It should be close to the power transformer.
Sometimes it is a torpedo shaped part connected in one of the wires.
I could not find it in the parts but that is not unusual.
It should be 0 ohms.

If OK then measure the resistances of the transformer windings.
If it seems OK then measure the transformers out put voltage, should be around 20 volts AC. Measure it with the it connected and disconnected from the control board.

You will have to call the part's reps to get a replacement.
They have access to more parts info than I do.

Check that the fan runs OK once you replace the fuse.
Would also be a good idea to check that the oven temperature is OK.
, though it has it's own thermal cut-off on the back of the oven.
