My water dispenser had suddenly gone from providing a good flow of water to a trickle. At the same time the ice cubes are suddenly tiny. I have checked and there is good water pressure getting to the water valve. Does this mean I need to replace the water valve? Thoughts appreciated.

When was the last time you changed the water filter?

Well, that turned out to be it. It's only been about 4 months, which is why that didn't come to mind first. I pulled the tube out of the dispenser side of the valve and there was good water pressure there which led me to the filter. Sure enough, a quick change there and presto.
