We took the back panel off, tested the heater (which was good) and then replaced the defrost thermostat. within a week, the frost is building up again and the food in the freezer is melting. i don't believe we have a defrost timer in this model. Any ideas? Thank you

Replacement parts for AMANA BRF20TE \| AppliancePartsPros.com It should be your problem since the thermostat and heater are good.
