hello, looking for some help with my whirlpool quiet partner1, model du1010xtxq5.

i read a post from a few yrs back,(http://forum.appliancepartspros...iii-dishes-wont-dry.html) and it seened close to my problem.

the machine runs for a long time during dry cycle (high temp/heated dry) and is still doesnt dry well at all.
during different times while in the drying cycle, i opened the unit up, and the heating element is always cold(never warm/hot)
i have checked continuity on the element, and it seems ok.

the above mentioned post suggested a "hi-limit thermostat", where would i find this, and how will i test it.
i did notice a limit switch on the bottom of the unit(just on the surface of the machine)

any help would be appreciated, thanks.

i jumped the limit switch i mentioned in above post, and also checked the power source on the heating element during operation.
there is no power going to the element with the switch open or closed.
