I took the panel off. On the connector it changes from the Black with white stripe to a black wire with a red stripe. this wire runs to the timer one that cycles the spin, wash rinse cycles. It has a lot of lint so I may use my small air compressor to blow all the lint away. I get continualty all the way to this timer.I was able to download the manual. Thanks

Okay, so you just need to find out where the voltage is dropping. Sometimes wires will test good measuring continuity but will not carry voltage. Are you comfortable measuring that wire live?

Yes. On the multimeter I will set it to 200 ac use the black lead ona ground some where on the frame & the red leadto the black wire with the red stripe, is that correct?

Correct, just be careful while working with live voltage.

I checked the voltage. I am not getting voltage to the connector or to the timer. I am also not getting voltage to the main red wire that feeds every thing from the main plugin. I set it to 500ac. I get 120 volts to the black wire that feeds every thing from the plug. It must be from the main plug or in the electrical box that the plug is wired to. Probably lint buildup or something.

That is odd that the dryer works well. I would check the main power at the cord. Look for any burnt wires, etc. If the dryer works fine, it has to be an issue after the cord terminals.
