This is a reply to Appliance Ninja's questions about the "white" fuse in the front of the control panel of my front loader washer. The fuse is good as I checked it today. My washer fills, runs a very short cycle and does not spin. The drum does tumble from side to side. As mentioned before I replaced the door switch and timer switch last month. The machine ran well for a couple of weeks, and this problem began.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the fuse information. Now, a question about the timer. It advances through the cycle very fast and there is no spin in any part of the cycle? Does it drain?

Okay, and how about the timer, it advances very rapidly, faster than normal?

I have not watched the progression, but the cycle is very quick. It does not spin, but does drain.

Okay, and if you set it to a spin cycle and start it, allow it to run for about 3 minutes and stop it, does the door open right away or remain locked for about 90 seconds?

Okay, so the door switch is not locking. Either the wax motor is not getting power or it is faulty. Can you set the machine to a spin cycle and test that wax motor for 120 VAC, accessing it from the bottom access panel?
