Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/8/2013(UTC) Posts: 5		For a while the high-speed spin of this front-loader was sounding like a jet aircraft taking off, suddenly it started clunking like a pair of shoes was inside. When my wife went to take the load out there was smoke which smelled like burnt rubber. Any thoughts on the possible cause & fix? Anyone know if there is a repair manual available online? Thanks in advance.

If you open the door and lift up and down on the inner tub, is it loose and does it knock when you lift it up and down?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/5/2013(UTC) Posts: 3		I think my daughter's Samsung F/L washer (model # WF218ANB/XAA) may have similar problems. The drum gasket is visibly VERY torn. The drum is VERY loose...and when you turn the drum you can hear bearings, and they continue to roll after you stop the drum. I would appreciate any help we could get also.

However, I can help with repair, if you decide to repair them.
