So i have the front load Frigidaire front load washing machine. It will not spin at all. I replaced the front door lock motor thingy as I was told it could be part of the problem, since I could open the door at any time during the cycle. I have replaced that and installed a new motor and I still cannot get the machine to spin. Please help.

Will the machine tumble back and forth? Does it pump the water out even though it does not spin?

Thank you! The motor controller is mounted on the base of the machine, under the tub. Can you get a look at that electronic control for any visible damage or burn marks? Also, there is a fuse on that board. Do you have a meter to test it with?

I have a cheap volt meter somewhere. How would I test this.

There should be a setting labeled Rx1, when the probes are touched together, the needle should move. A probe on each side of the fuse should also make the needle move. Does it?

The picture did not come through, sorry. The setting will be marked Rx1 or have a horseshoe looking symbol. When the probes are touched together, the needle should move.
