@sidfink43 Any possibility you may have a working link to the above referenced service manual? PLEASE?
The Timer stem got bent during a move on our heretofore perfectly working 417.29042992. I've already broken the teeth off the knob retaining ring trying to remove the front panel. I'm in deep need of a service manual before I rack up more expense than I can afford to fix. Thanks in advance for your time & consideration.

If you will post your model number so I can see exactly which machine you have I can probably give you a current link to a service manual.
Thanks

I can hardly believe my eyes that you are still here! Thank you kindly for responding to my request. To answer your question, I have a Kenmore (built by Frigidaire) front loading washer model 417.29042992. Every link I've discovered thus far, are no longer working. In desperation, I registered here to ask if you still have a copy. Frankly, I wasn't expecting a reply on a three year old post. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for besting all the odds. A most pleasant day to you! :) Hooray! I found it!!! Link to above mentioned manual: http://www.emaservicetips.com/p..._TumbleActionWashers.pdfThank you kindly, sidfink43, for your time & consideration. It's appreciated.
