I have a Frigidaire Speed Bake convection oven, Model # FEFL79JQA. We are not getting heat from the bake or the broil setting. My wife baked earlier in the day, but now neither function is working. The cooktop, clock, and oven light work fine. Any suggestions?

Here are your parts Parts for Frigidaire FEFL79JQA Range - AppliancePartsPros.comHere is the tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/p...ingfield/316519936en.pdfDoes the unit stay in preheat or does is show the oven as being ready. If it shows the oven as being ready then it could be a oven sensor problem. See the tech sheet on what it should read with a meter. Check that the common wire from the elements to the control board is OK. If both the above are OK then the problem is probably the control board( item 20 in section 03). You may also need a new overlay (item 20A). Sometimes they get ruined trying to remove them. Try war5ming it up with a hair drtyer if it is difficult to remove. |
