This is going to be a long post. I have read many of the other posts and have gone through the tests suggested. He are the specs: GE Hyrowave w/infusor. Model WHRE5550K2WW manuf 01/2009 and purchased 1/2010. Motor #175D5106G057. PROBLEM: When filling it starts to fill then after 5-10 seconds it starts to spin fast and still fill. LED lights on panel start with fill, then to wash then back to fill. Spinning eventually stops and sometimes it goes no further. Other times it continues on with the cycles and other times it gets to the rinse, goes through that but then back to wash (according to the LED lights). This doesn't stop, as though it's stuck in a loop. All this time the machine is making the normal clunks etc that the shifter is supposed to make. Both the agitator and drum move at the same time..which makes me believe the shifter coil is bad. Basically that's it. It doesn't appear to do all these things on all cycles though-maybe because different cycles have different modes it goes through. Now the Tests: MOTOR LED-green-blinks normal for both washer off (1 sec continual) and washer on (.5 sec continual). No error codes. In SERVICE MODE: All positions are ok. No error codes-(positions 2-4). Positions 5-11, functions are all ok. Pressure switch ok both full and empty. LID SWITCH: Has continuity when closed, none when open. RESETTING: Tried, but no go. MODE SHIFTER COIL: C7 reads 67 Ohms not 98. FUSE: OK-neutral tab to white/red wire-got continuity. C4 CONNECTOR: (blue, far right). Pin 5 to 3 -12 VDC. Pin 5 to 4 -12 VDC. C CONNECTOR: (white, far left). White/red wire to red/black-120V. Also the large pulley does turn free. AND I already replaced the control board suggested by another forum. Can the motor still be bad if the LED is showing normal or is it because the shifter coil is only reading 67 ohms, not 98? Is that a motor problem...not getting enough juice to the coil? Please don't tell me both or the sledge hammer is coming out !

Was the problem ever resolved? Washer spins during the fill cycle and final spin is not complete. I have replaced control board assembly to no avail...
