Refrigerator would cool good but would not cycle on and off. Compressor would run all the time and temp would go to below zero. Only way to turn off was to turn t/s to off. Finally just let run and finally shut down and started defrost mode I assume. Stayed in defrost mode and I finally unplugged unit.

What is the freezer temperature?

Freezer was -2 degrees. I have decided that I have a bad thermostat which I have ordered. I also have ordered a defrost timer just in case I need it. Only thing I need now is a hint how to get the plastic cover removed where the thermostat is located. I only found one clip on left side bottom which I have removed.

Try a hair dryer on the plastic parts.
