Whirlpool oven turns on and preheats normally, then sometime during baking the elements stop heating. Lights and control board function normally and the heat light is lit indicating an element is on. Upon cycling power neither element will heat. Checked the breaker and it is not tripped. I cycled the breaker several times and then finally both elements work again.
I thought it was a fluke and then 2 days later the same thing.
I am uncertain if flipping the breaker is causing the oven to come back on or if it is due to the oven having time to cool down that allows it to work again.
My thoughts are either 1)One leg of the breaker is going bad and getting flaky under load. 2)Temperature safety switch in the oven going bad
Any thought would be appreciated.
