I have a Kenmore gas dryer which worked perfectly fine up until a few days ago. All of a sudden it chipped out and when I try to start it again it chips out again. Every time I try to start it; it runs then chips out. What should I do? Has it run its course or is this problem fixable?

When I say chipping out I mean that the motor will just stop after a brief time of running

Then you got a bad motor or main control board most likely........Take a voltage reading while running the unit and see if the supply is cutting off if the 120v is dropping during this happening then it's a bad connection or harness issues or a bad main board.............if the supply is good and steady 120v then it shuts off then it's probably your motor..........watch a youtube video on how to diagnose. Good luck
