dryer get too hot even when running with dryer set to timed dry and air only. Does anybody know what the problem is? Any pictures would be very helpful.

try replacing the thermistor or hi low thermostat

Where are they located on the the dryer. Do you have a diagram you can post?

try sears parts website enter your model number and then pull up the schematic and the locations
