I recently bought this stove used. Everything seemed to work fine. I converted it over from natural gas to propane, adjusted the burners and hoods per manual. When we try to use the oven there is a very bad odor, enough that it gives my wife a headache. The flame seems quite blue but with the oven bottom off I'm not sure if it is the lack of the diffuser or what but the flame seems irratic. I used a brush and a toothpick and cleaned the holes in the burner to do avail. Is there some other adjustment? I tried the broiler and it looks great and no odor with that burner. Thanks for your help.

I dug through my manual a bit further and found info on adjusting the hood. When I cut down on the amount of air the flame straightened out and the odor was gone. A simple and inexpensive repair when I knew what I needed to do.
