My bottom freezer was frosting up terribly on one side by the door for a few weeks. I finally solved that by placing the door back on the track correctly. However, now the freezer has thawed out, not making ice and the refrig is not that cold.

Other than speaking to the unit in strong language I haven't a clue what to do. I welcome your suggestions.

Check the air venting going from the freezer to the fridge that may have frozen venting since you were letting all the warm air in with your door problem.
