The damper door on my 02 Frigidaire was stuck open. I took it apart and shut it and now it wont open. Do i need to replace to control box and damper or could the problem be somewhere else? Thank you for you response.

Since it will not open or close odds are that you need a new damper assembly.

You could check the fresh food thermostat with a meter to make sure that it is OK.
