Hello, I've diagnosed a problem I'm having with a leaky ice maker and it's with this part, http://www.appliancepartspros.c...t_id=4009555&image=1My only issue now is how to replace the plumbing attached to it. On the defective part, the tubes just go into this piece, with no clear way to get them out, nothing to screw. Can someone tell me the proper way to disconnect the old hoses, and put them into this new part? Will I need any additional hardware before I order? Thanks, --Michael

You slide the blue ring in while you pull the tube out and put it in the new one the same way.

Hmm... So I actually push the blue ring in, with say a screw driver? I'm assuming that will open something up. Sorry for being so detailed, I just want to make sure I do this right and don't damage anything!

You should be able to move the ring with your fingers holding the tube in your hand.
