Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/28/2013(UTC) Posts: 3		The knob for the oven no longer "cliks" off. It seems to turn off, but 5 minutes later (or less) the oven comes back on. It feels like there is something loose preventing the "click" when turning the knob, to shut off. The burners all work well. Can that be fixed? I do not know how old the stove is as it is a hand-me-down.

Here is what comes up if I use the model number you gave. Parts for JBS15 - AppliancePartsPros.com You will have to find the correct unit in the Matching Model Numbers section. Sounds like you need a new oven control thermostat.

Also, how do I get the black cover off? (where the knobs are attached) Thanks

Try Posting using Post New Topic and with luck someone will reply who has done one recently. Include the correct model number.
