Hello I have refridgerator listed above

The freezer makes a horrible sound when running, today when I came home I couldn't take it anymore. I removed three plastic pieces that go around a fan in the freezer. I can see that the fan wobbles a little bit if I out my finger on too of the pin that goes thru the fan (and stabilize it) it stops the sound.

I called GE $85 to come and look at it. I'm kinda handy and don't have the money to have someone else do it as I recently bought my first home.

Any idea what I need to replace?

Freezer and fridge are nice and cold. Just horrible sounds when running. Like the plastic fan is bumping into the plastic housing. Surrounding it.

Thanks!

Hi..

If you don't see anything loose, most likely you should replace the evaporator motor and fan blade (## 610,613 on the diagram).

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Freezer Section parts for GE GTL22JCPDRBS - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Simon.
