My dryer is about five years old. I have never had a problem with it until last week when it randomly stopped working.
I can hear the timer ticking. The light goes on inside the drum. When it is on wrinkle release mode, it turns on every few minutes like it is suppose to but it won't actually run to dry clothes.
So far, I have tested: thermal fuse, start switch, door switch, buzzer, time motor, and about any thing else I could find.
Any idea what else I should try? Someone said it could be the relays but I can't seem to find them. Help????

Hi.
It sounds like you may have the bad timer. Post the model and the serial numbers so I can find the parts.
Simon.

MOdel Number Appears To Be Med5740tqp0 With The Serial Number Mw1010956. The Timer Says Its MoDel Number m460-G.
Is It Likely To Be The Timer If I Still Hear It Ticking, Though

Hi. Open the control panel and use the multimeter to check the timer. Set the timer to Timed - Regular and check continuity between T-WB, BK-BU, BK-R, T-W. They all should be closed. If not - replace the timer Part number: AP3859587
Post the results. Simon.

You can check the timer by jumping those two open contacts and see if the dryer will work.
Post the results.

Hello,
What happen after you replaced the timer?
Is it completely dead?
Does it make any noise?
Have you tried different cycles?
Gene.
