Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/3/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		Had some kind of problem with electric oven; breaker tripped; looked oven over & found what appeared to be shorted oven light - weird - burn marks; removed oven light receptacle and taped off connecters; turned on power to oven; no error codes; top elements work; warmer element works; have 120V at L1; control panel responds to request to bake or broil; with controls calling for bake or broil have 120V at L2 & bake & broil terminals at EOC; but do not get 240V when testing L2 to bake or L2 to broil; checked continuity of temperature sensor (1070 ohms) and elements (15 ohms); they are okay. Suggestions?

L2 is not being switched in. Click on the picture for more info about the part. Part number: AP4587739 You may also need the overlay. Often they do not come off the old timer undamaged. If it is stubborn try heating it up with a hair dryer to loosen the glue. You can see them if you look at the parts link and then look at Touch Pad in the Part Type section.
