My dryer shows fault code 25 when put into diagnostics mode. As per the troubleshooting instructions that came with the dryer, I bought new inlet and outlet thermistors. When I checked out both old and new using a Ohmmeter, the readings pretty much matched. The next step in troubleshooting says to replace the "Machine Control Electronics". There are 2 "CNTRL Elecs" in the dryer. Can you tell me which one is the correct one?

Gene, thanks for the reply and sorry I am so long in getting back to this. Replacing the board resolved the fault code. I think there is still a problem with the dryer though, as sometimes the clothes will not be completely dry when the dryer stops, and sometimes it will hover at 7-10 minutes for quite a while and the clothes will be bone dry. It passes the moisture test described by the troubleshooting instructions, but still it doesn't seem quite right. Any ideas?

Hello,

Make sure the dryer vent is absolutely clean all the way to the vent hood as well as all air ducts inside the dryer.

Gene.
