I have an older GE microwave that keeps blowing its line fuse. When I bypass the fuse (with a screwdriver) the unit seems to run fine (I only test this for a few seconds). Is this repairable, or should I buy a new one? When I have tried using the model # on parts websites, they don't recognize the #. Maybe its just too old (?)

Marco, It,s most likely a faulty door switch or possibly a wiring issue. But we were unable to research your parts or service information, either, we used the GE manufacturer's web sights. You may want to consider a replacement.
