I have an estate dryer that will not start. It was working fine then just wouldn't start anymore. We had temporarily replaced the dryer with an old one from a friend. That dryer worked perfectly. This tells me it is not an electrical issue within the house itself. I have tested the thermal fuse by disconnecting the wires and touching them together. I have tested the start button by disconnecting the wires and touching them together. I have also tested the door switch by straight wiring. Nothing has worked so far and the timer makes a faint clicking sound, confirming it is getting power and obviously working. What else can it be?
