A little help needed to determine the problem and what I can do to fix the refrigerator. About two months ago, both the freezer and fridge side were overly warm, 7F and 44F respectively. I assumed it was dust/lint on the coils and cleaned everything off even though it didn't appear to be heavily coated with dust or lint. The refrigerator went back to working fine and everything appeared OK with the temps at 0F and 37F…..or so we thought. About a week to 10 days later, the water dispenser became intermittent and soon after we noted the cooling container for the water was leaking inside the lower portion of the fridge. It eventually froze and so did the vegetables in the lower two drawers. The freezer section has been going through cycles where the ice is fine and other times when it has thawed a little bit and then frozen solid in the ice container. There has been an icicle forming in the top of the freezer where the water drips off the bottom of the ice container through these cycles. The fridge section also goes through these cycles but the opposite direction where it freezes everything in the bottom and then goes back to normal.
Even though the refrigerator has been going through these cycles, the temperature readings still show 0-1F and 36-38F for the freezer and fridge respectively.
Thoughts and directions to eventually make repairs appreciated.
Thanks! WH

I would go to craigslist,or a garage sale and find a newer fridge. Sounds costly.GOOD LUCK
