Hello;
I am having a problem with my broiler, which will only work in the "lo" setting. The size of the flame will not change when I switch the control to "high". I have replaced the igniter, with no improvement. This is a propane stove, and the gas valve and oven igniter have been replaced about 4 years ago. Any thoughts on the cause of this problem??

Hello,
If you believe the broiler does not work on Hi only because the size of the flame would not change then there is nothing wrong with it. The difference between the Hi & Lo settings is only in temperature.

Thanks for reply Gene..to clarify, broiler will not heat enough even when meat is very close to burner. This is a new problem, the broiler worked before. the broiler burner is completely separate from the oven burner on this model, located at the very top of the oven. There is a flame present , but not strong enough to broil.

Remove the broil burner and clean the hole in the orifice using a needle.
