I just received this washer to replace my old one (can not afford a brand new one right now), and I ran a test cycle with it and it worked fine.

I then ran a regular load, and the machine will not stop filling. I have looked online through the wiring diagram, and expected to see some sort of a limit switch to shut the water off at a certain level, but there is no limit switch. So I am assuming that it is all controlled by the selector switch and the air tube that is on the front panel.

Am I correct in assuming replacing the switch will take care of the problem?

Yes you are, but before I would check the pressure hose and its connection the water level switch.

- The part number for the water level switch is AP4026928

Thanks.

I checked the air tube connection on both the switch end and the tub end, and also checked for cracks or damaged spots. I did find a slight cut in the tube where it leaves the console and goes down to the tub.

I have ordered the switch and the air tube. Thanks for the help
