I have a Maytag electric dryer. When I turn it on, the digital display comes on and works as normal. The heating element and the drum belt work. The dryer works as normal (clock ticks down, sensors detect wetness, etc), except the drum doesn't turn. When I ran the diagnostic test, it told me that the inlet thermistor was faulty. Would this cause the drum to not turn? It seems like that was for the heating element.

Hi.
Please check the model number and re post it.
Can you turn the drum manually?

The correct model number is MED6600TQ0. The drum spins smoothly when pushed manually.
