Hi. Unscrew the agitator cap, remove the screw and check through the center opening if the transmission shaft is moving back and forth in agitation. If it does - pull out the agitator Part number: 5303937150

I've removed the agitator, and the splines look fine. The shift will only turn in one direction. It will agitate if there are no clothes in the machine, once clothes are added then it will not agitate.

Hi.
Check if you can hold the transmission shaft with you hands. If you do - then it's bad tranny.
Simon.
