If it's working, check the chopper (#6 at the diagram) as described in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html If it's not working but it's making a humming noise, replace the motor or even better, the whole pump & motor assembly. It is about $17 more expensive but it will make the repair less complicated and much more reliable.
