Small amount of Water is leaking from the solenoid area when the dishwasher cycles. Any repair advice is appreciated.

Purchased flapper shaft seal and push on nut. Silicone lubricant (what kind, where and how to apply) and repair instructions is appreciated.

Hi.
Best to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet.Unplug it first. The shaft seal is located behind the solenoid bracket. memorize the order in which to reassemble everything. Use a needle to take the old seal out. A silicone lubricant is available at any automotive stores.Clean the opening before applying the lubricant. Fill up the cavity with lubricant, install the new seal and solenoid bracket.
