I discovered My Washer was not (washing) so I opened the back compartmentand I found the Driver belt had slipped off the driver Pulley, there was also alot of black dust that came from the belt rubbing against the drum. I purchaseda new belt and replace it, but the new one also slip off. After furtherexamination I notice the Pulley was Wobbly, so I removed the bolt to gain accessto the Pulley and notice it had some wear around the center where the boltlocks, which made it, wobble and not fit tightly.

Now here is my question, if I replace this pulley, would this resolvemy problem? Or is there more to this issue, perhaps is damage bearing? That causedthe pulley to loosen, and then the belt to slide off.

Single Mom trying to resolve this issue on my own. I will appreciatean honest knowledgeable answer.

Hi.

Open the washer's door and see if you can move the basket up and down. If it moves freely then most likely the bearings are going bad.

But we don't know how long the washer will run before breaks.
You can return the part even if it has been installed.

Here is the pulley Part number: 8182650
Part number: 8182650

The belt Part number: W10388414
Part number: W10388414

Post the results.
