I just finished installing a bearing and seal housing kit. Part# 12001561. The washer was leaking above the transmision. The washer would also ocassionally squeal between cycles, but worked pretty well. I have started a minni load for a test run, no leaks, everything is good but tub will not spin. The belt and pulleys are turning and pump is working, the aggitator also works well. Any guesses as to what I may have done wrong? The main concern I do have is the spanner wrench I ordered was to big. I installed the bearing or spanner nut hand tight then used a block of wood and hammer to tighten the last 1/4 inch to get the outer tub to line up with gasket and holes, to tight maybe. The old one seemed as tight.

Thanks,

Brian

Im no pro.... Im also waiting on answers, but since ive waited over 3 weeks with no reply Id hate to see you go through the same wait. If It USED to spin, then Id suggest taking it apart and reassembling it maybe with a little less torque?

LOL, I took your advice. The torque on the bearing made no difference, still no spin. Guess I will dump 50 more bucks on a thrust bearing, if that does not work, its off to lowes to buy a $300 Rooper so I can just chuck it when it breaks! Uncle! Good luck with your project, and thanks for the reply.
