The fill & overfill is leaking and I suspect that the gasket needs to be replaced. Any instructions on how I might do this? Any other asscoated tips would be appreciated. Thanks:)

Here are your parts.
Model Search

Just order Door Gasket Item 3 in "Tub & frame" section
I think the old one just pulls off

Also not Items 17 and 18. You would not need two as this is a kit with both RH and LH included.

The fill & overfill is leaking and I suspect that the gasket needs to be replaced.
Not sure what you mean by fill & overfill.
If it is leaking out of the door then the bove are a good bet.
If it is just water on the floor I would investigate further.
Remove the kick plate to see if it is a leak under the unit.

Thanks for your response. Actually the leak is at the fill and overfill on the left side of the machine. Follow this link. Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL KUDM25SHWH1 | AppliancePartsPros.com

It appears that the gasket is leaking (that would be part #4 on the diagram)

In attempting to remove the vent bezel by following the instructions you provided, the entire part, including the exterior part moves. I can't seem to get the bezel to move independently; the entire fill unit on the exterior moves. Could it be that because this is a 15 year old machine that the gasket is "frozen" in place. I do not want to apply to much force. Any other suggestions other than calling a professional? :)

I do not know if a pro will have any better success than you.
There is a good chance that it is frozen especially if it had a slow leak for a long time.
Try spraying the gasket area with vinegar, let it sit for an hour or so and do it again. If it is mineral crystals that is holding it the vinegar should dissolve/loosen them up.

You may have to pull the unit out so that the outside fill assembly can be held in place to prevent it from twisting. You may have to do this anyway since the fill assembly will fall down once you get the cover off.

Also you could try 2 screw drivers one at the top and one at the bottom so you are not putting all the force on the bottom. A large pair of needle nose pliers may also work.

Looking at the parts costs a service call will cost you more than all the parts combined.
