The agitator seems to catch and knock and then spin with the drum but then it slows down and knocks and repeats this. Other wise it works fine. Is this a transmission problem, etc. I replaced the dogs in the agitator a while back and it has been working fine until now. The number should be LA7680XTWO. I took out the basket today and there was fibers from clothing wrapped around the housing in the tub for the drive shaft. It must have been really dragging. I will replace the clutch and see how it works. I have heard that there is a part in the transmission that has given trouble in the past.
