Good morning! I have a Whirlpool Oven, Model RBD275PDQ6. It has been in our home for over six years. Over the weekend, I simply went to turn it on and the oven came on and immediately turned off. There is no power to the display now, the lights inside the oven will not come on either. I have checked the breaker several times ... all is good. Moved the breaker on and off slowly to make sure the switch was working correctly as well. I was NOT using the self-cleaning cycle, just simply turning it on to warm up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance to all of you and for this website. NOTE: Thanks to "denman" for his response to my earlier post. He noted that the model number was incorrect. Therefore, I am resubmitting my post with the correct model number. Read more: http://forum.appliancepartspros...power.html#ixzz26phYj1iZ http://forum.appliancepartspros.com

Hi.
First check if there is 240VAC at the oven terminal block.
If there is check For 120VAC at the control board connector P24-3 (BLK) and P24-1 (W). If yes - check the transformer on the side wall.
If not - check the inline thermal fuse (Black wire P23-3).
Remember - the main control board is not available.
Good luck.
Simon.

Simon, you bet! In summary, I just turned the unit on ... it powered up and then immediately shut down. I was not using the self-cleaning feature. Just powering on to warm up something.
Immediately, the oven came on and then the digital screen went blank. The lights inside the unit did not come on either.
There was power to the unit from the breaker. The breaker was fine.
I replaced the Thermal Fuse with a new "OEM Whirlpool KitchenAid OVEN THERMAL FUSE 4451042" and it worked perfectly. Took less than 20 minutes to get the unit up and running.
Simon, sincerely, thanks for your time and response. Let me know if you have additional questions. Happy to provide any input requested.
