Hello.
I have a Whirlpool Oven, Model RBD275P006. It has been in our home for over six years.
Yesterday, I simply went to turn it on and the oven came on and immediately turned off. There is no power to the display now, the lights will not come on either.
I have checked the breaker ... all is good.
I was not using the self-cleaning cycle, just simply turning it on to warm up.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance to all of you and for this website.

I cannot find any info on the given model number (Poo6). Are you sure it is not a PDQ6? Please check it.
Did you try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Some times you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. |

You are absolutely correct ... the model number is RBD275PDQ6, not what I had listed. Additionally, I did recheck the breaker a couple of times by switching off and on ... no change. Thanks in advance for your time.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for Whirlpool RBD275PDQ6 27" ELECTRIC WALL OVEN | AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet Everything on this unit is controlled by the board so perhaps it blew the thermal fuse which kills power to the power transformer/board. Part number: AP3110028
Click on it's picture for additional info on it. Shut the breaker off and check it with a meter, should be 0 ohms. Be sure to disconnect one side of it. This ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path. If the fuse is OK then you will have to check the power at the unit. If it is OK then odds are that the board is shot. |
