Hello - I have a Fridgidaire single unit gas wall oven. Model #FGB24S5DCA
The broiler in functioning normally. The oven burner will light and run for about 2 minutes. Then the oven will click, the ignitor will stop glowing and the flame will go out. Then the oven beeps 3 TIMES. After a minute or so it will start up again and repeat the cycle.
I just replaced a leaky valve at the regulator, but don't think that should have anything to do with this problem. I also tried a power cycle. What do you think it could be? Thanks!

Hi. There are 3 things to check: -The oven sensor -The harness and plug between the sensor and control board -The control board The sensor's resistance at the room temp.is about 1100ohm. the oven sensor Part number: 316217002

Thanks for the response. I tested the sensor and it is showing 966 ohms at 76 degrees. What do you think?

Make that 943 ohms at 76 degrees. The sensor was still a bit warm when I took the 966 ohm reading.

Hi.
The sensor is off by around 100 ohms. It's not by far. Most likely the control board is the problem.
Best if you replace both.

You don't think it could be a faulty ignitor?
I should also add that there is no error code displayed, although there are 3 beeps. When the oven clicks, the "oven" light turns off followed by the "preheat" light turning off.

It's a wild shot, but check the current draw.
If it's less then 3.2amp and takes longer then 90sec to ignite - it's the ignitor.
Post the results.

Simon. I replaced both the control board and the sensor and it still goes through the same lighting and shutting off cycle. I don't have a current meter to measure the ignitor. What do you think?

How long takes for the burner to light up when you turn the control on very first time?

Gene. I timed it at about 20 second for the ignitor to glow and 50 seconds for the flame to light.
