IT WILL START A WASH CYCLE BUT WILL NOT SPIN.ERROR E48 IS GIVEN.TEST 7 FROM THE WASHER TECH DATA SHEET:I PUT THE PROGRAM KNOB ON SPIN AND TURN IT 8 CLICKS CW.WASHER DOES NOT SPIN.WHEN RUNNING THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST, AND HOLDING THE OPTIONS AND START/PAUSE ARE HELD TOGETHER,THE LED'S DO NOT LIGHT SEQUENTIALLY.WHEN PRESSING A BUTTON BELOW THE LIGHT CLUSTERS THE THE LIGHTS IN THAT CLUSTER DO NOT LIGHT. IS THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOARD BAD? CAN THIS BE CAUSED BY THE SPEED BOARD.HOW DO I VERIFY WHICH IS BAD? iS ONE BEING DEFECTIVE EVER RUIN THE OTHER?304-366-1938

The way everyone tests these boards is to replace them and see if that fixes things. (Really, that's what even the factory trained techs do, it what you have to do with electronics in appliances).
It is probably your speed/motor control board. Try changing it out and see if that fixes things. Also check the door lock assembly as problems there can cause your symptoms.
