I have a Frigidaire FWT645RHS0 front load washer that has been leaking water when I run cycles. I had a repair man come look at it, he said the shell seal is leaking and said it's cost me $500 to repair it! So I'm going to repair it myself. He gave me general instructions on how to disassemble and repair the appliance but I thought if I could get some additional help, and maybe a service manual, it'd be much easier. Any ideas and is it really called a Shell Seal or is it a tub seal? I can't find anything called a shell seal but there are tub seals, is it the same thing?

Perfect! Thank you so much, I was starting to think I'd have to buy a new washer without even attempting a repair. I'll give it a shot :) Thank you!
