hi i have just finish opening the area in the freezer that knob in item #2 in the cabinet diagram which should regulate the air flow makes no sense it is not connected to anything behind it it just rotates and make clicking sounds. There should be a damper attached to it which opens and closes the air path, see Item 4
so tell me is it the fan item #13 thanks Yes it looks like the fan is shot. You could check it for continuity with a meter. You could also check the plug to be sure it is getting voltage. Or just order the fan, it is not uncommon for them to go. You may also want to order Item 4, the damper. Check to see if it has fallen off and laying at the bottom of the freezer. Weird that it is not there!

I believe it just pulls straight off.
When you order make sure that you ask if the old blade will fit the new motor. I mention this because they show the blade as F5 at the end of the list and this often means it has been changed for some reason. |
