Ok, trying Normal cycle. Seems to be running but it stopped at 97 minutes to go again. No sounds from it. No blinking lights, Just the Normal and Start lights on solid.
It is filling with water and the water is heating up, but should it stop so long (10-15 mins) at this point?

It is down to 42 mins on the timer, but the time is not coming down with the clock time on the wall. Is this "normal" or do I have a bad board? Please reply with something that makes sense.
no "Clean" light at this point. But the Normal cycle has been running for > 4 hours now.

Where did my messages go? I added that I was stuck again at 97 mins and currently at 44 mins after The "normal" cycle has run over 4 hours total. What is your recommendation as to a fix?

Ok, finished cycle but did not clean the dishes at all. The soap was dispensed.
I am stumped at this point and almost ready to go buy a new one and return the parts. Any suggestions?

Remove the toe panel and check if the main pump motor is working while the control calls for wash. If it does not, unplug the wires from the motor and check for 120 VAC to the motor. If it does, check the chopper (#6 at the diagram) as described in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.htmlGene.

I think I will just return the parts and get a new dishwasher. I find new ones around $400 that will do the job. If the pump is the problem, I think it will cost too much to justify trying it. We did take off the lower arm and the chopper appeared to be OK. It just seems we go from one "fix" to another on this machine.
