I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY ICE-MAKER.THE WATER SUPPLIE IS ON MY REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM,THE CUBES THAT COME OUTARE SMALL AND HOLLOW.THE WATER FROM THE DOOR IS VERY SLOW ALSO.IS THIS PROBLEM FROM LACK OF PROPER PRESSURE TO WATER VALVE AND REFRIG FROM THE REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM,OR A FAULTY WATER VALVE.???.
WE USED THE REVERSE OSMOSIS SUPPLIE WATER,BECAUSE OUR WATER IS TERRIBLE.!!!.I HAVE ALREADY CHANGED THE INSIDE REFRIG FILTER.???

The ONLY problem is LACK of water, Either from a kinked line or from low pressure, If you can increase the flow, It will start making regular sized cubes again!!! Same crappy water that wrecked your washer???? How did you make out with that?:)

Hollow ice cubes are generally a result of to little water in the mold, usually the result of low water pressure. If the water from the dispenser is also slow, I would suspect low pressure to the valve as the dispenser and the ice maker use different valves. You may want to check the pressure into the valve and see if it is noticeably slow from the R.O. system because if it's not, then you may want to change the valve.
