Fridge and freezer not getting cold. Compressor not running. Hear clicking sound. Any ideas?

Is the compressor actually cycling or is it just clicking on/off every couple minutes?

Clicking is often the compressor trying to start but for some reason cannot.
Its overload then trips, the compressor cools down, the overload resets and it tries to start again.

Here is a good site with info on how to check things.

Never hear the compressor actually try to kick on. Just hear a click every so often. I do hear a timer running by the light bulbs in the fridge continuously.

Try turning the cam on the defrost timer to see if it will fire up.
There is usually a hole in the cover that allows you to do this without taking anything apart.
Perhaps you are stuck in a defrost cycle.

Take the rear cover off and see if the click is coming from the compressor's start device.
