My washer machine just stop agigating in the spin and wash cycles. Also, no hot water - is that a sensor? Belts seem to be fine. I know my machine is getting old - but really can't afford a new one right now. Need your help!

Hi.
Loosen up 1/4 " screw at the bottom of the agitator and remove it. Check the splines at both transmission shaft and agitator. If everything looks OK - then it's bad transmission. It's a big job and $$$. Let me know if you decide to repair it.
Thank you.
Simon.
