I have a side by side freezer that freezes/frosts up at the top of the icemaker chute or on the bottom of the icemaker where the ice comes out. It freezes up so fast that it is hard to open the door after only a few days after melting the build-up. I thought it may be the spring loaded door at the bottom of the chute but it seems to be closed tightly. Any ideas?

Hi Rick, Remove the dispenser cover (the instructions are attached) and check the parts inside. Post the results. Gene.
