Our top rack spinning arm on the dishwasher just stopped working. I took apart the bottom and it was clean, tried extra water, and no improvement. Water is coming out the ends of the top spinner but is not actually moving it. Not sure if motor is going out, or if it's clogged somewhere I can't see. Want to make sure I've exhausted all possibilities before calling repairman. Added some vinegar to the wash to see if that helps clean out possible gunk. Took apart the top spinner and the gasket/bearing seems slightly warn, but looks like the pictures of the part online. Not sure if I missed checking something when I took apart the bottom, or if the motor is the culprit.

You may want to start the troubleshooting from the chopper assembly (#6 at the diagram). You can find more useful information in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Whirlpool GU1100XTLT1 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com
